Yes, this is the location of our reception! But, we will only be at the Alex Camp House, and the Arboretum has so much to offer! Pack a picnic or grab a bite at one of the stands throughout the gardens. It is an absolutely beautiful way to spend a sunny day! (*sneak peak!* our tent will be set up by the Tuesday before the wedding!!)

Looking for a way to beat the heat? Head to NorthPark mall. Fine dining and a fabulous selection of shops are only part of what NorthPark has to offer. (Fellas, don’t worry, it has a Tecovas and a Shinola you can hang out in.)

Eataly is inside Northpark and is one of our favorite spots in Dallas! Stop for lunch, eat dinner on the terrace, or shop for Italian groceries while sipping on a spritz. What more could you ask for?!

For our guests who have an interest in history, the Sixth Floor Museum chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy and explores the history of the 1960s.

If you’re coming to Dallas, you can’t leave without trying some good, old-fashioned Tex-Mex. Mariano’s is the place to look. Nestled in East Dallas, it’s the home of the original Frozen Margarita. Do yourself a favor and order the Queso Mariano while you’re at it.

Highland Park Village is the crème de la crème for Dallas shopping. Swing by one of the fabulous restaurants (Sadelle’s, Bistro 31, Honor Bar and Monkey Bar at Mi Cocina to name a few) while you stroll through the fine, high end stores it has to offer!

The George W. Bush Presidential Library is one of the newer additions to the Dallas repertoire and it is excellent. The museum wonderfully tells the story of W’s presidency, with a fabulous re-creation of his Oval Office at the end!

Everything’s bigger in Texas! That includes our BBQ. Stop by Pecan Lodge to fill up on good ol’ cowboy grub. The restaurant is in the heart of Deep Ellum, another exciting and eccentric neighborhood Dallas has to offer, and also one of its oldest. (“The beef rib will make a grown man cry.” - Gregg Hodges)

The Dallas Museum of Art is in the heart of downtown Dallas and boasts a fabulous collection of art from throughout world history. Be sure to stop and see the Wendy Reves’ Collection.

Located in the heart of downtown, sitting on top of a highway, is a stunning public park! Filled with a menagerie of rotating food trucks, Klyde Warren is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon.
